Equipment Capabilities :

  • Hydro-excavation – 4000L tank, 6inch boom, capacity to suck from 50m away (highly accessible), high capacity gurney makes for faster digging, big vacuum, highly efficient unit
  • Potable water carrier – 15000L, high volume discharge makes for fast jobs, cheaper for the client with time, Food Safety accreditation
  • Liquid Waste Truck – 11000L liquid-vac tank, strong suction vacuum pump, can lift very heavy material, environmental authority permit, capable of lifting 15m deep, 4inch suction hose, 2000L water capacity for gurney
  • Excavators from 1.8tonne to 8 tonne onsite, plus 14 and up to 36 tonne readily available. Trenching, earthworks, hole augering/boring, post thumper, rock pick, grab,
  • Tip trucks – 2 tonne up to 12tonne
  • Skid steer – 4-in-1 bucket, levelling bar, trencher, slasher, post thumper.

Brent Watterston is a highly experienced and qualified industry professional with over 25 years in plumbing and related services. Holding a wide range of certifications — including QBCC Company, Contractor, and Occupational Licenses, gas work, TMV and backflow prevention endorsements, high-risk work licenses, poly welding qualifications, and numerous site inductions across mining, power, government and industrial operations — Brent’s expertise spans far beyond traditional plumbing.

A natural leader, Brent takes the time to engage with both his team and clients, fostering a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning. His hands-on approach ensures every project benefits from his practical knowledge, technical skill, and attention to detail, giving clients confidence in outcomes that consistently exceed expectations.

Callide Plumbing Services is committed to developing the next generation of skilled professionals...

Apprentices gain hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, supported by structured training and mentorship from director Brent Watterston and his experienced team.


We welcome 1–2 new apprentices each year. 


We request applicants conduct 1 week minimum work experience within our environment as a trial to ensure the role is a good fit for both the apprentice and our team.


The program emphasizes safety, hands-on skills, and industry best practices, equipping apprentices with the knowledge, confidence, and experience to build successful, long-term careers in plumbing and related trades.
